Craig Ricks, baritone
Throughout his 23-year professional career, Craig Ricks has worked an array of random jobs in theatre, from local theatre to starring on Broadway.
Ricks grew up in Oklahoma and attended the University of Central Oklahoma, completing degrees in Musical Theatre and Literature, and returning years later as professor.
After moving to New York, Ricks was cast in regional theatre for a few years—Casa Mañana, North Shore Music Theatre, Pittsburgh CLO, TUTS, and Kansas City Starlight. After auditioning for Lincoln Center’s Carousel and being cast in the chorus, Ricks stepped into the role of Mr. Snow on tour.
Ricks was then cast on Broadway as Gordon in "Rent," but chose instead to join the national tour of CATS as Gus/Growltiger. He followed CATS for a long stint on tour, later joining the Broadway cast.
Ricks has been a three-time featured vocalist at the White House and performed many times at Carnegie Hall.
He is excited to be back in Oklahoma with his friends, family and the OKC Philharmonic
