New Exits Mean Routes to Concerts Have Changed!
In one of the most dramatic transformations of Oklahoma City's infrastructure, the "Crosstown" route of Interstate 40 (I-40) that provides access to downtown OKC has opened for EASTBOUND traffic.
There are currently no changes for drivers approaching downtown from the east on westbound lanes (including routes from Edmond and Norman).
This means that those traveling from the west toward downtown and those traveling south on the Hefner Parkway (I-74) will be faced with a new exit configuration to get to the Civic Center Music Hall at 201 N. Walker in Oklahoma City.
EASTBOUND EXITS NOW CLOSED
1. Sheridan / Reno
2. Walker Street
3. "Downtown" at Harvey
NEW ROUTE -- Our suggestion!
From I-40 Eastbound --> Western Ave Exit (Left turn and proceed North)--> Right turn to Main Street
Access the Civic Center and parking areas from Lee Ave or Walker Ave.
(Please note that the downtown street renovations of Project 180 have not closed any access to CCMH -- lanes are restricted but access is maintained).

TIP: If you miss the Western Avenue Exit, you can take the new Shields Blvd Exit. Turn left on Shields Blvd. and proceed North to NW 4th Street. Turn left on 4th Street and proceed to Sharetl. Turn left on Shartel to the Civic Center area.
